Course work and Assessment

A variety of teaching and assessment methods are used throughout the course including lectures, workshops, seminars, projects and group exercises with the aim of helping students to become independent learners, equipped with practical skills and competencies.

Each unit is assessed separately using a mixture of examinations, coursework and projects. A dissertation on the related topic is completed in the final year and students will be assigned a project mentor for guidance.

Course Information

Designed and delivered on the paradigms of cross-functional integration and continuous learning, the program offers specializations in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and Information technology and Systems Management. The program is split into three phases: introduction, intermediate and advanced. The introduction phase begins creating a management perspective from ground-up by exposing students to the various dimensions of business & organizational environments.

The intermediate phase categorically aims at training students in the skills of using various tools and techniques that are required to solve general problems encountered in various functional areas of management. The advanced phase in the third-year concentrates on developing special, function specific competencies in areas of marketing, Human Resources Management, Finance and Information technology. The student undertakes summer project study during the vacation period between the 3rd and 4th semesters.

Eligibility 

1. He/She must must be an intermediate/+2 level in Arts, Science or Commerce as regular students or as a student of distance education.

2. He/She must have obtained at least 50% marks overall at intermediate / +2 Level.
